Privacy policy

In short

Miss Blupsy runs on your computer. We have no servers, no accounts and no analytics: we do not collect, receive or store any of your data. What she sees, hears and does stays on your computer, except where you send it somewhere yourself, as described below.

Your voice

When you call her to listen, your voice is turned into text on your computer (with the open Whisper model). Your voice is never sent anywhere. The speech model is downloaded once from Hugging Face the first time you use listening.

Your screen

She takes a picture of your screen only when the AI app you use asks her to, and only with your permission (you choose "ask me", "allow" or "never"). She never captures windows of banking or password apps. The picture is handed to the AI app you are using (for example Claude), which handles it under that app's own privacy policy.

Files

She reads, edits or opens files only inside the folders you allow, and keeps a backup before any edit, on your computer. File contents she reads are handed to the AI app you are using, as above.

Your other computers

If you link your own computers ("My devices"), files and requests travel directly between them on your local network, end-to-end encrypted (X25519 + AES-256-GCM). Nothing goes through any server of ours.

Optional natural voice

By default she speaks with your computer's own voice. If you choose a natural voice and enter your own key from Google Gemini, Microsoft Azure, OpenAI or ElevenLabs, the text of what she says is sent to that provider to be spoken, under that provider's privacy policy. Your key is stored encrypted with your operating system's keychain.

What stays on your computer

• Your settings, what she learned (in ~/.miss-blupsy/memory.json), and backups of edited files.
• An activity log of the actions she took (~/.miss-blupsy/activity.log), without the text you typed.

You can delete any of these at any time. Uninstalling the app and deleting the ~/.miss-blupsy folder removes everything.

The AI app you connect

Miss Blupsy is a tool that AI apps use. What you say to the AI app, and what she hands to it, is handled by that app (for example Anthropic for Claude) under its own privacy policy, not by us.

This website

No cookies and no tracking. It remembers your chosen language in your own browser only. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and downloads come from GitHub, which see your IP address like any website you visit.

Children

Miss Blupsy is not directed at children under 13, and collects no personal information from anyone.
